Weighing & Feed Systems

Midlands defines 'Weighing and Feeding' as the equipment upstream of mixers, mills, calenders, and extruders. Our weighing and feeding system consists of:

• Minor Powder Ingredient Systems from supersacks/bags to individual bags/totes

• Major Powder Bulk Systems from supersacks to day bins, then to weigh hoppers and mixers

• Mixer Weigh and Charge Conveyors
  Includes wig-wag feeders, bale cutters, bale handling systems, and minor dispensers 

• Mill, Calender, and Extruder Feeders
  Includes conveyors with cutters, speed control, metal detectors, and folding
